The Kenmare Sailing Club is run on a voluntary non-profit basis and members participate at their own risk.

The club as a whole is not insured and members are encouraged to procure individual boat & personal accident cover. Members are responsible for their own welfare and that of any family members (or guests) they bring to sail at club events. Members are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of their own boat and no other participant is liable for the seaworthiness of same.

Members and/or their guest(s) who borrow a boat undertake to ensure it is in a seaworthy state. The rescue boat present at club events is present to assist in the event of a capsize or other incidents but are not responsible for member’s safety or that of their boat.   Star Outdoors is not responsible for the safety or member’s boat or loss/damage to any equipment.
